My creative art is a way for me to express myself, stay curious, and appreciate the beauty around me. I enjoy painting many different things, but sparrows are one of my favorite subjects because as a child my family traveled many different places and you could see sparrows in different countries in the world. I enjoy capturing the small details that make each bird special. Acrylic and oil painting are my favorite mediums because of their rich colors. I love trying new projects, learning along the way, and letting my creativity grow.
Bio
Oksana Kuyava was born in Rivne, Ukraine and moved to the US in 1996, settling in Buffalo, New York. Art has always been a special part of her life and what began as a hobby grew into a lifelong passion. After high school, she got married, moved to Spartanburg SC in 2001, and later became the mother of three children. She earned a degree in Art to further learn and develop her creativity and artistic skills. She has explored her creativity in different ways, from designing memorable birthday celebrations to experimenting in various art projects. Oksana especially enjoys painting birds and flowers and discovering their array of beautiful colors. She is looking forward continuing to explore new ideas, learn new techniques, and grow as an artist.
