About the Artist

For me, creating a painting is pure joy! Whether I’m moving fluid acrylics across a canvas or carefully layering oil paints, I find endless inspiration in the movement and energy of the natural world. I work in a variety of styles—from abstract fluid art to expressive landscapes and, more recently, portraiture. Each piece is a chance to explore color, form, and emotion in a new way. No matter the subject or medium, my goal is to evoke a sense of calm and invite viewers to connect with the natural rhythm and beauty that surrounds us.

Bio
Diane is an artist living in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Her passion for creating art was sparked at an early age by her father’s talents in fabric design, painting, and photography. Although primarily self-taught, Diane has taken art lessons throughout her journey, continually learning and growing as an artist. Fluid art has been a long- standing passion—she is captivated by the interaction of colors using acrylic paint and has developed a unique style through ongoing experimentation. Her work often blends abstract forms with the natural world, reflecting her love of nature and floral beauty.

For Diane, creating a painting is pure joy. She delights in the creative process, finding inspiration in movement, color, and the flow of the natural world. In recent years, she has begun pairing her paintings with poetry and has collaborated with her mother, who was a gifted writer. This poetic dimension adds an emotional and narrative layer to her visual work, offering viewers a deeper, more personal connection to each piece.
