December Newsletter

It's December already. There is still time to get unique gifts from our Holiday Artisan Market. The market will be open through 26 Dec ( except for Christmas day ), featuring and selling art specially curated for gift giving. Prices range from $5.00 to more than $1000.

We are happy that we can create a space where people will feel safe to spend time looking for unique, hand-made, locally-made gifts for their loved ones.

Best wishes and happy holidays!

Wonderful, original artworks being entered in this show.

We are so excited about this upcoming exhibition. We are looking forward to the community coming together to appreciate this celebration of life and hope during this difficult time.

Enjoy this sneak peak at some of the amazing art you will see in the exhibition.

"This painting sat unfinished in my studio until Covid-19 emerged. As the pandemic amplified political and societal stresses, I felt led to complete it as an expression of hope. We, like sunflowers, yearn to turn from darkness toward the light of better days." Carol Cole Czeczot
"On February 5, 2020, I completed and photographed "Survivor #34," unaware of CoVid spreading around the globe. When images of the spherical red perpetrator emerged in March/April, I recognized in "Survivor #34" an eerie sense of premonition. Yet the central motif in this piece is the gingko...a 200 million year survivor of disasters...giving me hope that we too will survive this." Christina Laurel

December Member Exhibits

There's still time to find the perfect gift of original art.

Please Consider Donating Today

Like other arts organizations, we are facing financial loss. We have had to cancel 19 exhibits and our fund raiser "Sparkle and Shine." Opportunities for grants are limited or reduced due to limited income by the granting organizations. We are trying hard to come up with ways to continue our support of local artists even with limited funds.

We believe in what we do and know that we have made a big impact on this community, and regionally. If you can, please donate whatever you can by going to: artistscollectivespartanburg.org/donate.
