Artists Collective | Spartanburg is getting ready for the holiday season by planning a Holiday Artisan Market for Nov.3 – Dec. 26. The intention is to provide a safe space for locals to shop for unique holiday gifts over a longer-than-usual time frame – Nov. 3 – Dec. 26. The event will take place primarily in the largest of the Collective’s three galleries, The Solomon Gallery, and will feature a wide variety of works made by 37 of the collective’s member artists. The market will be open for shopping Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 4p.m. at no cost.
Items on display and for sale will include watercolor, oil, acrylic, and mixed media paintings, sculpture, and photographs, as well as smaller items such as: pottery, jewelry, fused glass, hand-woven neck-ware, miniatures, holiday cards, and ornaments. Price points will range from a few dollars to a few thousand – (many items are very affordably priced) with something for everyone. The two other galleries, retail areas and many of the artist studios will also be open for viewing.
Please Consider Making a Donation
Like other arts organizations, we are facing financial loss. We have had to cancel 19 exhibits and our fund raiser "Sparkle and Shine." Opportunities for grants are limited or reduced due to limited income by the granting organizations. We are trying hard to come up with ways to continue our support of local artists even with limited funds.
We believe in what we do and know that we have made a big impact on this community, and regionally. If you can, please donate whatever you can by going to: artistscollectivespartanburg.org/donate.
