Patrick A. DeCrane

Painting, Drawing

I have been painting and drawling most of my life. Art helps me to both escape and cope with life. While I enjoy painting with acrylics and pastels, I find watercolors the most enjoyable.

I generally use intense colors. I also find great satisfaction in drawing with pencil and charcoal. My subject matter generally includes flowers, trees and still life.

While not necessarily following their style, I find Wolf Kahn, Edward Hopper and Georgia O’Keeffe inspiring.
