“We are so thrilled to have so many artists submit their extraordinary works for the Juried Exhibition, and we are delighted to have distinguished painter, educator and mentor Ryan Roth as this year’s juror,” said Beth Regula, chair of the Artists Collective | Spartanburg managing board. “He brings with him a dynamic combination of artistic excellence, academic leadership and professional experience.”

Roth described the selection process as both rewarding and challenging.

“It was an honor to serve as juror for this extraordinary exhibition,” Roth said. “The quality, range and thoughtfulness on display made the selection process far more difficult than I anticipated. Behind each work was an artist who had made deliberate choices, taken creative risks and put something honest of themselves into the process.”

The Juried Exhibition is on view in the 2,000-square-foot Solomon Gallery through Oct. 25. Admission is free, and the gallery is open to the public 10am – 4pm Tuesdays through Saturdays.
